I notice the 2018 cars and trucks are showing up on the lot. You’d think I’d be used to this by now.

I can’t decide whether I hate this or Daylight Saving Time more.

What exactly is their rationale for lying about what year the car was made/launched?

I moved to a province with no DST, and let me tell you, it being dark until 9 am in the winter is a bit of a shock.

I don’t know. I bet Torch does. It just seems silly that they are allowed to sell a “2018 model year” car starting in the spring of 2017.

It’s Iaccoca’s fault, I’ve been led to believe. They did it to launch the Mustang and it stuck. The year is the model year, not manufacture year . Design changes for the vehicle are made to coincide. that being said I have a 2010 and a 2016 that were both made in those years.
